Tours/Prospective Family Night
We have scheduled tours on the first Wednesday of each month at 8:30 a.m. Please call 303.438.1011 to schedule.
Our Prospective Family Night will be held on Wednesday, November 13 at 6:00 p.m. Students and younger siblings are welcome to attend. RSVP is not necessary.
Families wanting to enroll their child(ren) at Jefferson Academy will participate in EnrollJeffco.
First Round open enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year will begin December 5, 2024 and end on January 17, 2025. Students will be placed in a lottery. Offers for enrollment will begin to go out on January 28, 2025. Second Round enrollment begins January 23, 2025. Second round participants will be placed at the bottom of First Round according to the date of the application.
We are a PreK - 12th grade charter school. Grades PreK - 6th grade on our campus. Grades 7 - 12 are located at 11251 Reed Way. Students enrolled in the elementary are guaranteed a position at our secondary school.
When a family is offered and has accepted a position for a student that is new to Jefferson County, they will need to complete the online registration and upload a copy of birth certificate, immunization records and proof of residency.

Second Round Open Enrollment begins January 23, 2025. This is for families that did not submit an application in EnrollJeffco (First Round) or declined an offer and choose to apply again. Students in Second Round are placed at the bottom of the First Round lists.
Preschool UPK - 4 year old program (2025-2026 school year)- Students must be four-years old by October 1, 2025 and qualify for UPK. Students who are five years of age by October 1, 2025 will not qualify for UPK . We offer a morning and afternoon class. The morning class is from 8:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m. The afternoon class is from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. The maximum class size is 20 students. Along with the teacher, each class has an assistant.
Kindergarten (2025-2026 school year)
Children entering Kindergarten must be five years of age by October 1, 2025.
Class Size
We have five full-day Kindergarten classes with have approximately 20-22 students in each classroom. Every classroom has an educational assistant working with the teacher for seven hours each day.
We have four sections in grades 1st - 6th. Class sizes may vary between 24-28. Along with the teacher, classrooms have an educational assistant between five to seven hours every day.
Our school hours are 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Students may arrive as early as 7:45 a.m. and go directly to their classroom or take part in the free breakfast beginning at 7:40 a.m.
