Fun Run/ Butterfly Pavilion field trip
Calling all parent volunteers! On November 1st our JACCC students will be taking a field trip to JA Elementary to participate in the biggest fundraiser of the year. More details to come about that. We are combining the participation in the Fun Run with a field trip to the Butterfly Pavilion to make it a fun-filled but also educational day.
This is a no contact day for Jeffco Schools so we are unable to reserve a bus to get students down the hill. We are in need of many volunteers to transport kids to JA Elementary for the Fun Run by 9:30am, to the Butterfly Pavilion around 11:15am and back to JACCC around 2pm. Our younger/smaller students will need car seats so we want to make sure we have enough drivers to accommodate all of our students. You will need to provide a driver's license and proof of insurance to the office to be able to drive students. Thank you in advance for your help! A volunteer form and transportation authorization form is included in Friday folders this week, please fill them out and return in the folders next week. We can not make this field trip happen without you!!
October Count Days
October 1st-8th are the state October Count Days where our attendance will be tracked for per pupil revenue. It is important for students to attend these days so we can get the appropriate state funding for our school. We never want students to come to school if they are ill but if at all possible we would love to see 100% attendance this week. Thank you for your support.
JA Board Meetings:
Board of Directors’ meetings are open to the public unless the Board is in Executive Session. Regular Board meetings are generally scheduled for the third Tuesday of each month (unless otherwise noted). Meetings will be in-person at locations noted and via Zoom. These meetings are a great way to stay informed with what is happening on all campuses of our JA community as well as topics that affect our JA organization. Please click this Board Meeting Link for more information.

Child Care for Meetings
We would love to have a middle school or adult volunteer who would be willing to supervise children during our monthly PTO meeting. If you or your middle schooler is able to help please call the office at (720)719-3003. We look forward to meeting with all of you.
PTO Membership Drive

The class with the highest percentage of sign up gets a classroom surprise! Checks can be made to Jefferson Academy Coal Creek PTO and will be collected in the office. Electronic payment options to be provided next week.
Haunted Halls and Trick or Treat Street
Haunted Halls is part of trick or treat street and we need your help making it come to life!

Starting Tuesday (10/1) there will be a storage bin in the office to collect items.
If you have large items/donations, please reach out to Brenda via text at (303) 748-3117. Thank you!
